Taking on a more serious topic this time  – the potential of music doing us good!

The impact of music is vast – quoting professor emeritus Töres Theorell ”music hits our brain like a megaphone in a unique way”, activating many different parts in our brain! 

  • It affects us emotionally – calms us down, makes us jump for joy or even cry. 
  • It affects us physically – can lower blood pressure, heart rate, reduce stress and pain etc.
  • Recent studies show that singing might help slow down age-related changes in the brain
